Jakob's deep desire is to see people experience and encounter God. After being arrested on drug charges and nearly dying from a drug overdose, Jakob had a dramatic encounter with God. This single encounter broke the hold of addiction and confirmed the call of God on his life.

Jakob and Leah are both graduates of Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas. They served as Senior Pastors of fruitful churches in Central Illinois and the beautiful island of Hawaii. Recently, Jakob returned to Trinity Church as one of the executive teaching pastors. Having been mentored by prominent figures such as Dr. James Marocco and Steve Hill, Jakob and Leah bring to Trinity a wealth of experience in evangelism and church planting.

Jakob and Leah reside in Cedar Hill, Texas, with their two teenage children, Moriah and Gabriel.
