Covid-19 Updates

In light of the constantly evolving crisis, Trinity Church has created a plan for the foreseeable future. Effective immediately, in order to honor and comply with all guidelines set by the state of Texas, we will not be holding services at any of our campuses. Until we are given the “all clear” by governmental authorities, we will hold all services ONLINE ONLY.

Additionally, each individual department will be in touch via social media, presenting youth ministry, children’s ministry, select Bible studies, and more. Please make sure you’re connected to these avenues so that you are able to benefit from all the content being provided for you and your family!

Each day, we will provide date-specific information here to keep you informed. Keep checking this page for updates.

Easter Lent Offering Update:

As you know, Easter nearly approaches, and the resurrection is a big deal! Historically, Trinity church celebrates the risen life of Jesus with spectacular gospel presentations and a special Easter (Lent) offering to bless those less fortunate than us.
Before Coronavirus, we anticipated distributing a significant financial blessing to the Puerto Rico relief effort and local school ministries. This year, we deeply believe the ministry of our Easter gospel will be extremely effective, but the traditional Lent offering is somewhat in question.
Unfortunately, many Trinity worshippers currently face difficult financial burdens.  The impact of the virus severely impacted our missionary accounts and they stand depleted. While we still hope to send offerings to Puerto Rico relief, frankly, our partnerships with missionaries around the world seem challenged. Our missionaries feel the effect of the virus like us, but they are totally reliant on charitable support from churches like ours. We cannot disappoint them or disable their vital ministries.
Pray with us for our front-line presenters of the gospel (missionaries), for their protection and provision: for the harvest for which they have planted their lives. Second, please allow Trinity to use our traditional Lent offering to broadcast general support for missionaries in need. And, of course, if you can participate, please do!
If you find yourself unable to give during this unusual season, please do not feel obligated. You are in our prayers. But for those of us who can participate, please utilize the online giving tools or mail the enclosed envelope with your best missions offering.
Thank you for bringing the Lord’s tithe and your Lent offering through the online giving portals this Easter weekend.

Don’t forget, it’s also day two of Interactive Easter Week! Make sure to tag us in your post and use the hashtag #TrinityEaster20 when you participate.

Tuesday: Post a picture of yourself after your prayer walk through your neighborhood! Pray for peace to fill the homes you pass, and for every person to come to know Christ.

Monday, April 6, 2020

We would like to thank everyone for their participation in our online services yesterday. Over 16,000 distinct views were recorded on Livestream and Facebook Live during the 9am and 11am services. For context, this is almost five times the normal online viewing audience on the average Sunday. If you were unable to be with us yesterday, these services can be viewed here: 9am Service 11am Service

This week’s schedule of online services will be posted tomorrow, but a normal online schedule will resume for all of our ministries and campuses throughout the week. Specifically, our campus pastors will begin filming online services for viewing this weekend.

Last night’s Prayer Project Week #1 has received reports of powerful breakthrough prayers in the homes (and Zoom)of our church family. If you missed Week #1, then you can still have your household be involved for the next two weeks. Our objective is to pray for the harvest and our nation. Download the small group prayer project guide HERE

Don’t forget to check out the daily devotionals on Facebook Live and online (8am, Noon, 4pm) with Pastors Jim and Becky.

Your generosity and giving to the church is greatly appreciated. Through your offerings, we are still carrying out the Great Commission and are able to show compassion to those in need.

Your church family is here for you and for those who need physical and spiritual assistance. Feel free to contact us anytime at help@trinitychurch.org

Sunday , March 22, 2020

Thank you for worshipping online with us today. If you are just now joining us you can watch this morning’s service here online, Facebook and YouTube
Tonight, beginning at 6pm, we are encouraging our entire church family to be involved in the Prayer Project. This 3-week small group emphasis around praying for the harvest leading into the Easter weekend has been planned since the beginning of year. Even though we are unable to gather together in small groups, we are asking you to download the prayer guide and pray over the harvest and our nation with those who are with you in your home.
If you have children or junior high and high school students there are Sunday worship experiences and daily devotionals available for them. These are specifically designed to minister to your sons and daughters during this unique time in our nation. You can find those resources here:

Thursday, March 19, 2020

This is for all those with questions regarding the Prayer Project small groups that were planned to begin Sunday night. We will not be asking those who signed up as leaders to have people physically present. If you have people in your relational circle (i.e. family, roommate, etc.) then we would love for you to download the Small Group Prayer Project Guide and pray for the harvest and our nation from 6-7pm this Sunday. Some leaders are being creative and developing online (Zoom) conference meetings so they can pray together with others. But the Prayer Project as we designed it is cancelled. But this does open the door for every member of our church to download the guide and spend an hour praying this Sunday night, as well as on March 29th and April 15th. If you have any questions feel free to call or text Pastor Tim at 469-285-3633.

Today, our online devotionals from our pastoral staff are available on Trinity’s Facebook Live at 8am, Noon and 4pm. If the time has already passed for the Live devotional then we will keep them available on our website and Facebook. The 4pm devotional today will be a Live Q & A with Pastor and Becky.

Our responsibility to those in need, financially or relationally, is of the utmost importance as a church family who believes in community. We have teams available to assist in every possible way. If a need arises with you, or with anyone in your relational circle, please contact us at help@trinitychurch.org.

Stay tuned to the Trinity Covid-19 updates. Tomorrow we will be releasing our complete online weekend service times for all our campuses, Explicit Youth Ministry, and KIA Ministries (children).

One final reminder: Remember this Sunday night is the beginning of our Prayer Project. We are asking each household to take this time to pray for the harvest and our nation for one hour from 6-7 pm. You can download the prayer guide here…Look at this creative solution from one of our Prayer Project leaders…

“I asked for the guide Sunday knowing we were moving towards social distancing enforcement. With that being said I prayed and looked at ways to still participate in case we moved towards this. I have opened a zoom account to host community gatherings online people will be able to call in join from their mobile phones or computer…I can reach out to some friends and I am sure I can get 10 -15 people on board before Sunday.”

Thanks for all that you do. Stay continually in prayer.

Wednesday, March 18, 2020

TONIGHT, March 18, there will be online activities for all ages.

Tonight, at 7:00pm, there will be 3 online bible studies:
Trinity Marriage Live
Growing in Prayer
The Covenant
These bible studies, along with our KIA ministry (children), will be available on our YouTube channel.
There will be a Youth service available on Explicit’s Instagram.

Our values include responsibility and making sure our hearts stay strong.  Regarding our small group launch scheduled for Sunday, we are making an adjustment to our Prayer Project small group plans. Due to the uncertainty of the current “social distancing” environment, we will no longer be placing anyone in specific groups. What we are asking is those who signed up to be leaders to pray in your homes with those in your relational circle (less than 10) for the next three weeks (March 15, 22 and April 5). The prayer time will be from 6-7 pm on each of these Sunday evenings. Anyone willing to be involved (even those who did not sign up as leaders or those were just going to attend a group) can download the prayer guide beginning tomorrow via the app or online. This a great opportunity as a faith community to pray for the harvest and for our nation during these difficult times. We will be sending out more information during the week. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Selina Sosa.

Tuesday, March 17, 2020

Starting TONIGHT, March 17, we will not be having services at any of our campuses. Until we have been given the clear by governmental authorities, we will hold all services online only.

Wednesday evenings there will be 3 bible studies available on our YouTube channel, as well as Children’s Ministry. There will be a Youth service available on Explicit’s Instagram.

Tonight, Pastor Jim will lead our corporate prayer time on Tuesday, March 17.

Sunday worship services, 9 & 11, will be from studio and, this week, we ask all campuses to join the larger family on our main webpage (www.trinitychurch.org) or on Trinity Church FB Live.

Our Saturday Night and Sunday services are still on this weekend. However, in order to honor and comply with guidelines set by the City of Dallas, our Cedar Hill campus will only be allowing the first 500 people in our Worship Center. After that, we will have overflow rooms and areas through our campus where we will livestream the service for those in attendance.
Please note, if you are at risk (elderly, those with health issues), or if you show any symptoms of being sick, we ask that you stay home and watch online. We will be live-streaming our service to Facebook, as well as our website.

Hello Friends,

God has not given us a spirit of fear but power and love and sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

This ancient and timeless wisdom is our guide to navigate the world’s unusual season. We will not be afraid but will approach this challenge with prudent and careful thinking.

Trinity’s weekend schedule will remain unchanged unless we receive different directives from our city or state officials. However, if you consider yourself at risk, (elderly, asthmatic, etc…) please feel free to excuse yourself and join us online or at Facebook.

Our teams are prepared with extra sanitary stations and will vigilantly clean between services with special focus on children’s areas.

The current crisis is a great opportunity for believers to speak the Father’s heart of peace and establish kingdom of peace. I’m very excited about this weekend’s worship, message and appreciate your prayers and consideration. Hope you will join us but if you need to stay home be sure to join us via media.

We will get through this!!

Love you much,
