FAQ'S

When you download the app, make sure to accept notifications.  If you've already downloaded the app and not sure if you're set up, go to the Settings tab on your phone and make sure you've got the Trinity App enabled for notifications.

On an iPhone follow these steps:

  • When you open the app, it should automatically ask for permission to send you notifications and access your location. If not, restart the app. If it still doesn't ask, do the following:

  • Exit the app.

  • Go to your iPhone's settings by clicking on the grey settings icon.

  • Scroll down until you see the "Trinity" app (usually toward the bottom of your screen). Click it.

  • Click "Location" and then "Always."

  • Click the back button.

  • Click "Notifications" and then "Allow." You're done!

On an Android device (i.e. anything other than iPhone) the steps may look something like this:

  • When you open the app, it should automatically ask for permission to send you notifications and access your location. If not, restart the app. If it still doesn't ask, do the following:

  • Exit the app.

  • Go to your phone's settings by clicking on the settings icon (usually a grey gear)

  • Scroll down until you see "Apps." Click it.

  • Scroll until you see the blue "Trinity" app. Click it.

  • Click "Permissions."

  • Make sure "Location" is turned on. If you see an option to always allow location, click "Always."

  • Make sure "Notifications" are turned on. This option may also be under "Permissions." If not, click the "back" button until you see "Notifications."

Yes! No credit card details are held on your phone. Credit card details are tokenized and are stored on industrial grade servers where this information is then encrypted. The security setup we have used is the same as many banks and is PCI DSS compliant. For this reason, Pushpay is considered significantly more secure than many current offerings including actually having a credit card physically present. If your phone is lost, no transactions can be made without your passcode, as opposed to current credit card theft.

Yes! In your user profile, any donations you've made through the app will show here.

Giving through the app is fast and secure.  There's no need to remember a login. For your security, once you complete your donation, you'll be texted a secure code to enter before the transaction is finalized.
