What to expect on Sundays at Trinity Church

You will find Trinity Church to be a group of ordinary people in wholehearted pursuit of an extraordinary God. Regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey, Trinity is a place where you can grow, be challenged, do ministry, and experience the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. You’ll discover the messages to be challenging and purposeful, worship engaging and God-focused, people warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere to be charged with faith and expectancy. We believe you will truly sense the presence of God in Trinity’s gatherings.

What are the services like?

Trinity’s Sunday services begin with an energetic and engaging worship experience. Feel free to sit, kneel, stand, clap, dance or lift your hands during the worship time, knowing that worship is about connecting with God, and not external appearances.

Personal prayer is always available during the worship segment. At the appropriate time, feel free to come forward to receive prayer for any of your needs.

A typical service includes worship, a brief transition and offering, followed by a message based upon the Bible. To get a feel for what Trinity’s services are like, select one of our video or audio-cast options on the media page.

When should I arrive?

Sunday services begin at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM. You may want to arrive about five to ten minutes prior to the service to familiarize yourself with the campus and facilities.

The parking lot is expansive. A variety of parking lot shuttles are continually transporting attendees to and from the Worship Center.

If you arrive a bit late, it’s never a problem at Trinity. You will find friendly and knowledgeable hosts in the lobby, eager and willing to help you with any needs.

What should I wear?

Attire at Trinity Church ranges from business suits to jeans, t-shirts and even shorts. Our goal is not to impress others or hold a fashion show; it is to connect with God. So, wear what makes you feel most comfortable!

How do I get to Trinity Church?

Trinity is located at 1231 E. Pleasant Run Road in Cedar Hill, Texas. Click on our directions page for more information.

When you arrive at Trinity Church, you will notice that the campus is located on both the north and south sides of Pleasant Run Road. The Worship Center, Children’s Center and Trinity Christian School buildings are the most prominent facilities on the north side. The Student Center is located on the south side of Pleasant Run Road. All facilities are utilized on Sundays.

What about my children?

Elementary (grades 1-5) and preschool (K3-K5) children have special services and groups designed for their unique needs during all services. Nursery (birth – age 2) children have special age-appropriate classes as well. Visit our Children’s Ministry page for more information.

If you bring elementary or preschool children, you may want to arrive fifteen to twenty minutes prior to the service to check them in.

Check-in locations are as follows:

Preschool and Elementary – Children’s Center (large building adjacent to Worship Center),

Nursery – Worship Center Rotunda.

On Sunday mornings in the Student Center, Junior High small groups meet at 9:30 AM, and the Junior High service begins at 10:45 AM. Visit our Student Ministry page for more information on additional youth services and activities.

What do I do before and after the service?

While waiting for the service to begin, stop by the Coffee Bar in the Worship Center Rotunda for a variety of fresh coffees and pastries.

Also, immediately following the service, please visit the Guest Reception to get to know us better, receive a gift, and have your questions answered. It will only take a few minutes, and you’ll be glad you stopped by.
