He also serves the city of Cedar Hill as a coordinator of Transformation Cedar Hill, a coalition of business, education, government and churches committed to see God’s principles enacted into the fiber and relationships of the community. Jim came to Trinity Church in November 1994 from St. Petersburg, FL where he served for 9 ½ years. He is a graduate of Central Bible College, Springfield MO. Jim and his wife Becky, have three children Ross, who is married to Angela, Ryan, and Katlyn.

Superintendent Trinity Christian School
Read Full BioAs Superintendent of Trinity Christian School, Mrs. Watts coordinates, develops and implements programs that support the vision of the church and school ministry. Her passion is to see young people love God, be trained in their gifts and talents, and be outstanding Christian leaders in society.
Mrs. Watts attended Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, for her Bachelor’s Degree and earned her Master’s Degree in Education and Administration from Oral Roberts University. She has also completed her Ed.D from ORU. Mrs. Watts was on the faculty of TCS when it opened its doors in 1981. Through the years she has served as teacher and also as principal at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels from 1981 until 1994. She returned to TCS in 2002 to serve as school superintendent.
Kathy and her husband of 39 years, Clay, have four married children and eight grandchildren.

Quarterly meetings called “Girlfriends” have grown from approximately 250 to over 600 in attendance in 18 months. “Women of Worth” Women’s Ministry clearly broadcasts a message of hope, crossing generations and cultures. Becky’s passion is to create a safe place for women to grow, for women to hear and learn about God’s fantastic will and plan for each individual woman. Her mission: Women of Worth would be a vehicle of transformation in our community, the marketplace and beyond as we embrace women from all walks of life. Living by a mandate of action to help women realize their value, purpose and destiny in God’s master plan.

Read Full BioShelia directs the business operations of Trinity Church, overseeing Financial operations, Facility construction, operation, and maintenance, Human Resource activities, Communications, Information Technology and Asset Protection.
Shelia brings 24 years experience in the corporate arena to Trinity where she was responsible for managing multi-million dollar capital expenses, and budgeting as well as directing procedures and operations for Human Resources and Facilities. In 1995 she felt the call of God to transition to Trinity Church to serve as the Administrator. Shelia believes all of her previous business training and experience was merely preparation for being a part of God’s plan at Trinity Church.
Shelia and Jim Hood have been married for many years, have four children and live in Duncanville with an ever changing menagerie of animals.
Director Small Group Ministry and
Young Couples (20s-30s)
As the Director of Small Group Ministry, Pastor Benji is responsible for overseeing the spiritual development of Small Groups.
Benji is the husband of Lori Allen and dad to Hailey, Brayden and Addison. Benji & Lori have served at Trinity since 2004.
Director Hispanic, Singles Ministry
As the Pastor of Latin Connection and Singles Ministry, Steve Boyer oversees the flow of pastoral care, Smallgroup, fellowship and discipleship ministry to the Singles and Hispanics of Trinity Church.
Pastor Steve was saved at Trinity Church in 1982 and immediately became involved with Youth Ministries. He was a lay leader until 1993 when he went on staff at Trinity Christian School. He served on pastoral staff at Trinity Church for 14 years and left in 2007 to be Executive Pastor of Frontline Church in Arlington, Texas where he served for 3 years before returning in 2011. He graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with a Business Management Degree.
Steve married his best friend Anna in 1997 and they adopted their 2 kids Brianna Renee and Joseph Anthony.
Evangelist/Director Student Ministries
Read Full BioRobert felt the call of God on his life to minister at the age of thirteen. After which, the Lord began using him strategically in his local Church, specifically in the area of drama. In 2001 Robert was awarded first place in the nation during a National Fine Arts Drama Solo Competition. Upon winning this award, he was blessed by the Lord to receive a full year tuition scholarship to Southwestern Assemblies of God Bible University.
It was at the age of seventeen that Robert strongly felt God calling him to preach the gospel. Since then God has opened up a plethora of opportunities for him to minister to Churches, Youth Groups, and Schools across this nation through dynamic preaching and drama.

Read Full BioJohn Michael and Tami Jean Barajas came to Trinity Church in Cedar Hill to pastor Velocity in 2007. In 1997, they stepped into their first pastoral roles as Trinity’s Youth Evangelism/Campus Pastors.
From 2000-2004, they ran the Sunday morning Junior High Ministry, while writing and producing drama’s for the HD Youth Ministry. John Michael and Tami Jean then spent three years as the Youth Pastors of Vertical Life Student Ministries at Bethel Assembly in Temple TX, where they founded the Central Texas Master’s Commission.

Read Full BioJordan and his wife Heidi moved to Dallas from Utah in 2010. Jordan began teaching bible classes at TCS in 2011, and in February of 2012 he and Heidi joined the staff as junior high pastors. They have a great passion for the youth and love to serve and minister to them.
Director Fine Arts
Read Full BioBrenda joined the Trinity staff in 2002 as the Director of Fine Arts. She is responsible for overseeing the music ministries, directing the Sunday morning choir, and leading worship. Her desire is to bring together people from all walks of life to a common place of worship every Sunday and to excel the kingdom of God by uniting people’s gifts and talents through music ministry.
Receiving the call to music and worship while in college, she was music and youth pastor in Arkansas while completing her Bachelor’s in Marketing from Southern Arkansas University, and MBA from Louisiana Tech University. Since then, she’s been involved in directing youth choirs, worship events, and conferences. For the past eight years, she has taught business administration at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie Texas. Pursuing both worship and education has been a fulfilling path.
In June 06, Brenda and her husband Todd welcomed their first child, Camden Wade.

Dr. Hennesy received his master’s degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Springfield, Missouri and continued his education at Erskine Seminary in Due West, South Carolina where he earned a doctor of ministry degree. For nineteen years James served as President of Southeastern College in Lakeland FL.
Doctor Hennesy and Margie are the proud parents of two sons; Jim and Mark and grandparents of Ross, Ryan, Katlyn, Ben, Joshua and Kristin.

He began attending Trinity in 1980, graduated from Christ for the Nations in 1985, and begin working at Trinity in 1986. Michiel believes he was called to serve at Trinity and has been for more then 20 years.
Michiel was born in the Netherlands and came to Dallas as a child. Michiel and Sherryl have 3 daughters, Michiel, Krisna, Stacia, and 5 grandsons, Dokoah, Prestin, Eric, Logan, Carsen.

Before becoming Pastor of BridgePoint Ministry, Buddy served as a youth pastor for nine years at Trinity Church, a senior pastor in Austin, Texas for ten years, as well as executive pastor in Red Oak, Texas and Pensacola, Florida. Buddy graduated from Southwestern Assembly of God University in 1981 with a degree in Pastoral Ministry.
Buddy and his wife Vickie have been married for twenty-seven years and have two children Misty & Amy.
Minister Prayer
Read Full BioLisa leads the prayer ministry at Trinity Church. Her vision is to see prayer become a lifestyle, not just an event. Lisa oversees over 40 groups called TCells that meet at least once a month at the Tuesday night Prophetic prayer meetings. She has designed and set in place "The Pathway to Freedom", incorporating a combination of deliverance appointments and classes designed to help change victims into mighty warriors. Lisa also oversees the dicipleship of new believers through "Basic Training" classes and small groups. Her mantra is "Get equipped. Be prepared, Fulfill your mission!"
Lisa was raised in Southeastern Oklahoma. She was saved in 1977 and began ministry in 1979. Lisa traveled for several years as an evangelist. In 1981 she attended Southwestern Assembly of God University where she met and married Wallace Swayze. She worked as a youth and Associate pastor in the Dallas area for nine years and as senior pastor for eight years.
Lisa and Wallace live in Cedar Hill and have two children.

After graduating from Master’s Commission they moved to Lawton, Oklahoma where Matt was the full-time Children’s Pastor for almost 7 years. In August of 2007, they moved their family back to Trinity where currently Matt serves as the Elementary Pastor for 1st-5th grade Students. They currently live in Waxahachie and have two sons, Ryan and Brandon.

Read Full BioJeff’s passion is to see worship and the technical arts work together in churches to effectively communicate the gospel. He graduated from South Dallas Master Commission’s three year program and went into Youth Ministry as the worship and missions coordinator for five years. Jeff received a recording engineering certificate from Cedar Valley College and started the Audio/Visual program at Trinity Christian School teaching students audio recording techniques and video editing. After serving for two years as the media director at Trinity Church he transitioned to worship director and currently lives in Cedar Hill with his wife Sarah and daughter Grace.
Minister Chaplaincy
Read Full BioChaplain Nathan Timmerman has served as the National Resource and Development Representative for U.S. Missions Chaplaincy Ministries since 2002. He has effectively conducted chaplaincy training conferences across the United States and has implemented a chaplaincy training program at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas.
Timmerman established a chaplaincy ministries program at Trinity. Through this program, community chaplains are trained, certified and mobilized to serve in the southwestern region of the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex. Nathan also serves as the Administrator and Facilities Director at Exodus Ministries, a faith-based transitional facility for single mothers who have been recently released from prison. His wife, Cindy, serves as the Executive Director for Exodus Ministries in Dallas, Texas.
The Timmermans have also served in pastoral ministry, including First Assembly of God in Grand Prairie. Nathan served as an Area Director for Prison Fellowship Ministries. He is the co-founder and former assistant director of Inmate Family Ministries for the North Texas District of the Assemblies of God.
Both Nathan and Cindy attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University, where Nathan earned a B.S. in Missions. Currently Nathan is pursuing a MA in Children and Family Ministries at SAGU. Nathan and Cindy have been married and ministered together for over thirty years. They have two children, Joshua and Jacinda.
